Power of Your Thoughts

I recently had my first consult with a sweet, older, overweight new client of mine. Initially, I laughed as she joked about being old and decrepit because being able to laugh at yourself is important but the next time she referred to herself as a fat, incompetent person, I did not laugh.
I am a huge fan of Joel Osteen and he states that you have to believe it in order to see it.  Think about that:  if you want to lose weight and feel great, you have to believe you can do it.  If you want to get stronger, more flexible and improve your balance skills, you have to envision yourself doing the movements, getting stronger and staying balanced.  You can do this.
As a Senior Fitness Instructor for the City of Sacramento, I almost don't want to categorize my classes "Fall Prevention" because mentioning a fall scares me!  So let's call me the BALANCE ENHANCEMENT LADY!  Yeah, we're not preventing falls, we are enhancing our balance skills!  I like that!
Please start thinking positively about yourself.  Envision yourself strong, balanced, and capable.  Capable of getting up and staying up.  Capable of saying no to temptations and yes to body betterment.   Capable of taking time each day to stretch your body.
Take 5 to Exercise.  There's no magic pill, no special gimmick to buy, life takes effort.  Not continuous, strenuous effort, just CONSISTENT EFFORT. Please visit my website, www.take5toexercise.com, to order your 5-day series of seated stretching and strengthening routines that will enhance your balance skills!
Be good to yourself.  Take 5 to Exercise each day.  Your body will thank you.  I thank you, the Fall Prevention Lady, aka your Balance Enhancement Specialist!
